All on-screen elements provided by our addons are moved through Edit Mode. Edit Mode is the only method we support for repositioning them.
- Enter Edit Mode using any of these methods
- Click the grid button in the lower-left corner of the addon settings.
- Right-click the addon's minimap button.
- Enter this command in chat:
/ex edmode
- Drag the element to the position you want
After entering Edit Mode, find the element you want to move and drag it directly to the desired position.
If an element is not currently visible, enable its preview in the Edit Mode panel first, then adjust its position.
- Checkboxes control previews only; they do not determine what appears in combat
As in Blizzard's Edit Mode, the checkboxes in the panel are there to help you preview and position elements.
For example, clearing the timer bar checkbox in Edit Mode only hides its editing preview temporarily. It does not disable the timer bar in combat.
Whether an element appears during normal gameplay or combat is controlled by that feature's own settings and is unrelated to whether its Edit Mode preview is enabled.
- How can I tell whether an on-screen element belongs to one of our addons?
Enter Edit Mode, enable the relevant element's preview, and identify it by its name and position. If an element can be previewed and dragged in our Edit Mode, it is managed by one of our addons.
If the addon has loaded correctly and the relevant preview is enabled but you still cannot find the element you are looking for, check Blizzard's default interface or your other addons. Do not identify an element's owner from its appearance alone.
